Android Wear 1.4 finally features the new Google logo. The Google app in the launcher users the new multicolored ‘G’ and the ‘speak now’ icon is a Google-colored microphone.

Now that Android Wear 2.0 allows standalone apps, you can stream music through the Google Play Music app over Wi-Fi or LTE (if your watch has cellular service).

The Android Wear app contains important settings, and your smartwatch needs apps installed on your phone in order to do everything.

Many Android Wear watches will get the update to the new OS soon, and with it will come extensive third party app support for iPhone. We’ll bring a full tutorial soon.
