Well, as you've probably surmised by this point, Roblox now has voice chat which was just released out of beta -- "Spatial voice chat," to be specific.

That age verification, for those 13 to 17, will unlock a feature called "Trusted Connections" that allows for less filtered text or voice chat.

However, in Roblox's case, verification will become more common as it's tied to access to newer voice-enabled games and experiences down the road.

Roblox says the solution will combine facial age estimation technology, ID age verification and verified parental consent.
